And... I'm back!

As promised here I am after a long vacation, away from my dearest space; my blog. Are you curious what's that kept me so busy? So, read further. This year has been terribly busy from academic perspective. Soon after board exams I applied and appeared for entrance exams, long wait for the results and then brain-storming for making a decision. I couldn't concentrate on anything and so I started my goodreads challenge. One book a day, and which I religiously followed for almost 15 days. I discovered my love for reading, photography, arts and crafts. I am happy that I utilized my time in some constructive work rather than getting lost in boredom. Then came my results. Some negative and some positive. ''Clearing BHU entrance isn't easy. You are very lucky to get admission in a first attempt''. I was surprised equally as I hadn't prepared anything extra. Then things changed dramatically. So rapid that I myself was confused. Everything was done. The admission ...

Moments of Togetherness

In this hi-tech generation almost all of us have a smartphone. We carry it throughout the day to check messages, latest updates and even during spare hours in a day which we get to relax for some time. While journeying in metro, partying with friends, dinning with family, during class lectures, evening walk and even while driving on road; our eyes remain glued to the phone screen as if it is going to give solution to all problems. It's an addiction eating up our real world little by little. To be precise, our virtual world is superseding our real world. Even the warmth of love, gratitude and relations have become digital; easy to manipulate (status). No commitment. There are days when we feel a void inside; wanting someone to just sit and listen what we have to say, to exchange a few kind words and get inspired by someone's life experience. It becomes hard to start up a conversation with a person sitting next to you with all his attention either in mobile screen or an ear- p...

My Friendship and five years!

*Cake-candles-song-claps-wishes* Happy Birthday to you ''My Friendship''...my blog... my second home... my savior... my little world. So much of ''My'' but not more than ''Yours''. I feed this space with my thoughts but it grows only when its readers read and give feedback. This journey started back in 2010 when I was in eighth standard and now I am doing my BBA in international finance and accounts. It's hard to believe how years rolled by and today it's the fifth anniversary of ''My Friendship''. This is happiness; a pure bliss! I clearly remember the first day of blogging. It was a struggle between what to write and how to write and whether should I write or simply delete it the next moment. Fortunately, I chose to write; thanks to my stars. By the time I discovered, there was completely a different world dwelling... ''the world of words'' where even the pain seemed beautiful. It became...

A Second Chance

Today's APED prompt is "Second Chance". I have written "55 words fiction" based on one of my most memorable school days experiences.  "Anusha, your lunch box!" screamed mom. I looked at my wrist watch, it was 7:15 AM. I rode my bicycle as hard as I could. Panting and sweating.  Gaurd uncle who's fond of me, smiled and said "You're late. Relax until the prayer is over". I prayed for myself to be given a second chance.

A divine descend

Among the dried leaves those memories heave Crisp, conspicuous & crunch autumn leaves, imagination hunch The lone garden and deep tranquil I had found myself blessed with nature's quill I took a pen and a diary the book of my emotions turned into a library  Here, I wrote my life's first song  and realized things weren't that wrong Under the warmth of sun a sigh of relief Converge at my heart's core, fall of a leaf It detaches with the lost spring from a tree A descend so divine that makes it free Written for A Prompt Each Day - Wordplay #5 and Ultimate Blog Challenge - Day#2

The Quote Challenge #2

I have been tagged by a blogger friend, Vinay Leo R. from  I Rhyme Without Reason  for  ''The Quote Challenge'' . I will share a quote from my favorite book or a quote from my favorite author for three days consecutively in a blog post and tag my friends to be part of this challenge. I would like to tag Ph_ from Cascading Thoughts , Deepti from Deep Ties  and Archana from Drishti- The Gaze '' Never tell all you know- Not even to the person you know  best. ''   - Agatha Christie Because at the end of the day, your secrets help you to win over the situation and make a difference. So, keep it safe with you :)

Rain rejoice

This post has been published by me as a part of Blog-a-Ton 55 ; the fifty-fifth edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. In association with Rashmi Kumar , the author of Hooked, Lined and Single and Jyoti Arora , the author of Lemon Girl . .  "There is something special about rains. When trees dance, flowers smile rejoicing and the stirring fragrant brew up; I feel a new self. As if nature has framed up a mirror for me to look at and reciprocate in the same way." Said Snigdha and ran towards the garden to meet the season's first shower. Anand was mesmerized to see rains from a new perspective. In the chaos of life, earning hard and gathering luxuries he hardly ever noticed the joy of little things, the joy of letting go everything for a moment. Resting his left shoulder on the door he stood there motionless in admiration of Snigdha's carefree smile, those brown innocent eyes and tempting rose bud like moist lips. She had...

The moment I listened my Heart to touch someone's Heart

An intense upsurge of emotions  When there is no pretense, it's deep like an ocean Every feeling has a different feel Right from grievances to extreme zeal Have various shades of dark and bright Hard to control over when reaches to its height They maybe soft or maybe hard Flickers like a shuffle playing cards Some of them never get change They never get out of range No matter how long it had been Or have become a past But it's there secure and ever last These are the few lines from my poetry written long back. Feelings are best when shared but most of the times we fail to express it to our loved ones. How would one know if you care for him/her unless you express it? Then come  'words' ; if one is not comfortable to speak directly then he chooses to write or gift something that epitomizes those unsaid feelings. It's important to listen your heart and follow, for it always guides you right. Today I will share my   #DilKiDeal   m...

Happiness Is

Life is full of struggles.   For what do we keep ourselves going through them?   It's a chase towards the   ''happiness'' . Every one of us wants to be happy and cheerful but it is always the disappointment that mostly affect our lives. No matter what challenge life throws, all we should do is accept it positively with a smile. My nani ma's words help me to keep an optimistic attitude. She says,   ''Things happen the way they are destined to be. You may plan for several things but not one of them would work until it is meant to be.''   Her words work like a booster and it instantly fills me with an utter happiness and peace.  Happiness is all around us. Sometimes we can not find it among the chaos of life and many a times we ignore it. True happiness does not lie in having a rich legacy, having villas and lots of money. However, most of us find them a way towards the happy life. Happiness is to have people who love and care for you, the ple...

I Stood Tall

Life brings up so many challenges and winning over them is not always possible. A failure may let us down but hope within should remain kindled, always. For, where there is hope, there is life. When we are in doubt, in pain or in a sad mood we feel like sharing our hearts out to feel better and see things from different perspective. In everyone's life there is someone close to heart to whom we idolize, trust and share secrets.  In my life, it is my dad to whom I adore and love the most. He usually has solutions to all my problems. I give no second thoughts in sharing anything with him. He listens, understands and guides me on how the situation should be dealt. Since my early childhood I have been a great art lover in one or the other form. When I was ten years old I had participated in a drawing competition. It was a grand competition and students from different schools had participated. I was nervous after seeing the crowd as most of them were senior to me but still I was co...

Pampers and Smile

A woman's life change completely when she becomes a mother. A new journey starts of hers and her child sharing the most beautiful relation of l ove and care . And no doubt, she would love to see her baby smiling, playing around her and be healthy. With her baby a lot of responsibilities become a crucial part of her  daily life's  chores. Harsimar is an adorable and super active child. She passes a cute smile to everyone she looks at. My aunt remain very careful about Harsimar's sanitation, food, toys and everything that she touches just to take it into her mouth. I was amazed to know about the fun they both share. Aunt read out rhymes and she stare at her face with curiosity. She enjoys music and start tapping her little fragile feet onto the beats. She likes ice-cream. She loves watching cartoons but not alone. She wants someone around to cuddle her.  Such a temptation lover she is! Aunt keeps us updated about her activities and all the fun they share. ...

The Wisdom Crown

Within the brimming shallow of life Right from high to low alone I strife  Like a refrain it sings of joy and plight As the dark night diffuse off divine light I've to go along with the course it flows Harsh winds oppose my way with its blow Why the flair of joy shroud with gloom mist? Bubble lived is my cheer it stays in midst   Soon, it drifts same as an air filled balloon    a single touch of sharp pin tear it apart loon I see, my situation no different from it when compare Happiness and joy are elusive; they hardly come and stay rare As much as I long for them they seem a distant journey, far away I look back to count my smiling days, hidden under its sway ''Life is too long to live and short to waste Try all its recipe to get different flavors taste''     Everything runs alternative, has a dual phase  we've  to not only face them but also to chase  Here the question is how sadness could be defeated? In this serene rain

No matter how much the things go wrong to me No matter how depress I feel or lost A touch of cool wind I perceive in silence Ventilate my heart accumulated with Uncountable worries & unexplained feelings I close my eyes as to feel each and every drop of This serene rain, my own spiritual believe That touches me; the feeling of lost evades in silence No more solitary, Nature accompanies me to  consort And that too with ''Loyalty''.
