For Creators. By Creators. . Share Your #LockdownTales at indicreator.com Never had I ever thought that a day like this would come when humankind will be shunned  from going outside and dreaming of one Never had I ever thought  An invisible storm will hit us all so hard that our lives will come back to square one and materialism will become a thing of discard Never had I ever thought  that in a world where people stopped for none will come to a standstill, silence, and vulnerability  A progressive nation like our would crash into a downturn  Never had I ever thought that our silly generation will sit back and reflect on deep scars and damage, it did to mother earth Vow for real to address them and fix the defect Never ha...

Rain rejoice

This post has been published by me as a part of Blog-a-Ton 55 ; the fifty-fifth edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. In association with Rashmi Kumar , the author of Hooked, Lined and Single and Jyoti Arora , the author of Lemon Girl . .  "There is something special about rains. When trees dance, flowers smile rejoicing and the stirring fragrant brew up; I feel a new self. As if nature has framed up a mirror for me to look at and reciprocate in the same way." Said Snigdha and ran towards the garden to meet the season's first shower. Anand was mesmerized to see rains from a new perspective. In the chaos of life, earning hard and gathering luxuries he hardly ever noticed the joy of little things, the joy of letting go everything for a moment. Resting his left shoulder on the door he stood there motionless in admiration of Snigdha's carefree smile, those brown innocent eyes and tempting rose bud like moist lips. She had...

To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton . It was the first downpour of the season, vanquishing the summer heat. Jia, with her earnest brown eyes, was watching outside through a window glass. She was mesmerized to spot a peacock dancing beautifully on the terrace of a distant building. She saw a crowd standing outside under the cafe roof, waiting for the rain to stop and so that they could continue to walk toward their respective destinations. Jia was a sensitive child and mature beyond an eight year old. There were two kinds of people she found standing under the roof. Some of them were silent and calm enjoying the pleasant rains, like her. Whereas, others were despite being strangers were friendly enough to start a conversation for a while. Jia could see them smiling, exchanging numbers. Maybe they ...

To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton .  Like any other evening the sky was shrouded with dull orange and red tinge. The sun was almost sinking at the horizon. Chirruping birds were returning to their home. The narrow rays of radiance were striking straight to the transparent brimming sea. Smoothly dancing ripples were tranquil to my excessive loitering mind. I kept on staring at them for a few minutes. The beach was greatly rabble with kids, teenagers and old- new couples. I wanted to join them and to secretly learn different tracks of their lives. I wanted to listen each of theirs' story but this time I ignored for, I myself wasn't able to switch the capricious secret for which Arpit had called me here. I had no idea except the seriousness in his abrupt tone when he talked to me ...

This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 45 ; the forty-fifth edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton .  Long ago, an efflorescence of life was plank down on earth Since then, mankind came into the existence casting birth A cycle that goes on and on with the promise of cooperation  Connects we children to our mother earth with intense adoration   As the time changed, people changed and so with them have 'relations' The gap contriving in between, both generations fails to built a space for rendition   The promising link between the two seems adversely decrepit near to separation  It's we, who initiated the route of disguise with the rush of our own greed  Too easy for us to let go things, far too insensitive to mother earth's selfless deed There is always a limit of everything beyond which the elasticity t...

This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 44 ; the forty-fourth edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton .  On that bright day every corner was enshroud with amber gleam sheath under the the cloudless sapphire sky, scorching heat that reminds you of  'Rime of the Ancient Mariner'. Everything was dull and dry. On such a searing day nobody could imagine even a blow of wind for split second  but Shanaya, a strong instinct believer already predicted , there would be rains shortly.  No one cared! She quickly went into her kitchen to prepare a mug of coffee and some cookies for herself. Her younger brother started teasing her for her dippy act. Hot coffee on a hot day! Didi, have you got crazy?  She wasn't paying attention towards him. She was calm, lost in the other world. Busy in blending cocoa and sugar. Again her brother in a teasing...
