Smartphones have become a style statement.  The more advanced your phone, the more trendy you are! That's the way world see you and you see the world. Well, I am not an exception here. I am a gadget freak and when it comes to a smartphone; I am quite too selective. Keeping in mind the latest features and my budget, I decided on buying an  ''LG Nexus 5X''.  The white, sleek, sophisticated design with 5.2 inch screen and light-weight; LG Nexus 5X won my heart at the very first sight. Book Review: 1st Job and 10 Mistakes by Uttam Kumar

Buy @ Amazon My Review:  ' '1st Job and 10 Mistakes'' by Uttam Kumar is a guide book for people who are to get their first job and tips on how to make a judicious use of first salary.  The author has discussed about ten very common mistakes that we usually commit in the beginning of professional life. Those are Loan for Loan;  here author has shared an example from his real life encounter with a friend, who took loan after loans to pay previous one and how he was held up with six loans from six different banks. I wanted to know what solution the author suggested him that helped him get out of the situation  in 24 months. First Get First Join,  talks on a very relevant ground. It's quite common to see people working in a field different from their qualification. The job offer might seem good but it proves to be a deal of loss in a long run. Stop Learning; with the first job in hand one becomes reluctant to learn new things. The author has sugges...

The Quote Challenge #1

I have been tagged by a blogger friend, Vinay Leo R. from I Rhyme Without Reason  for ''The Quote Challenge'' . I will share a quote from my favorite book or a quote from my favorite author for three days consecutively in a blog post and tag my friends to be part of this challenge. I would like to tag Maniparna of Scattered Thoughts , Purba of Laugh, laugh and reflect and Tennyson Thomas from The Tea Celebration(s) '' Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray . ''  - Rumi  I greatly follow Rumi's sayings and one of them is, the one I have shared above. His thoughts come from deep roots of various emotions- Hope, happiness, sorrow, helplessness and admiration. Dad and I often debate on doing things based on 'what I love' and 'what I don't love but do it anyway'. I always take my heart's call for things I really like and I rebel. My parents were worried becau...

Nostalgia

That was just a meet, His smile and hearty greet, Together with his humorous talks and a little walk, Once again opened my heart's lock! The peacefulness within me turned to perky, Darkness within was now replace by lucidity, His presence broke the emptiness with the ample of care and love.. I believe now time changes everything As it changed the strings of my heart  from a woeful ballad to beautiful tunes, He never left me alone in my thoughts! But do really was he still walking along with me? While an instant loiter glance  my lingering steps stepped off pebble with a jerk! And I razed in his protective arms, But that was a road  where I fell down helplessly... He was no where now, I was left there so lonely with turmoil thoughts... That was the moment I realized  that he was in my imagination! His last word ''Adieu'' echoed  in my ears again and again, A tear trickled down from my eyes ...

It asks me go on snapping my fuel The whole world drenched in color Except my own world inside so blur Life does not stop with someone's depart But part left can't be filled it remain stark My heart sink at thinking of all that again There is all around a deep silence My heart and mind are at it violence I lackluster and yet I feel laying back My own thoughts are hacked Life ...

With this swift paced life who does not wants to be fast and smart. Advancement in technology has endowed us with possibilities which seem to be infinite. In today's time when gadgets are as important as clothes to us. ''Betterment and change'' are the keys that we have accepted to follow lately. The Indian market is no exception to it. With the launch of smart phones that we think define our smartness, the craziness seems no bound.  Well, if smart phones exemplify our personality then it's quite logical to have people being fussy regarding it. The market is full with new stocks of stylish and costly smart phones but for a buyer it is challenging to buy that satisfies him with the features at an affordable price. Being a gadget freak whose list is topped by phones I look for features which are latest and extraordinary. Not to forget it should be affordable too. The new sensation about to hit the market is   Asus Zenfone 2      I am going to share five re...

The moment I listened my Heart to touch someone's Heart

An intense upsurge of emotions  When there is no pretense, it's deep like an ocean Every feeling has a different feel Right from grievances to extreme zeal Have various shades of dark and bright Hard to control over when reaches to its height They maybe soft or maybe hard Flickers like a shuffle playing cards Some of them never get change They never get out of range No matter how long it had been Or have become a past But it's there secure and ever last These are the few lines from my poetry written long back. Feelings are best when shared but most of the times we fail to express it to our loved ones. How would one know if you care for him/her unless you express it? Then come  'words' ; if one is not comfortable to speak directly then he chooses to write or gift something that epitomizes those unsaid feelings. It's important to listen your heart and follow, for it always guides you right. Today I will share my   #DilKiDeal   m...

In this serene rain

No matter how much the things go wrong to me No matter how depress I feel or lost A touch of cool wind I perceive in silence Ventilate my heart accumulated with Uncountable worries & unexplained feelings I close my eyes as to feel each and every drop of This serene rain, my own spiritual believe That touches me; the feeling of lost evades in silence No more solitary, Nature accompanies me to  consort And that too with ''Loyalty''. Go with all your heart

There are a few instances that happen so often That by the time we conclude the reason behind  But the conviction doesn't come without a hitch! Constant hustle between the heart and the mind Rattle persists greatly along with perplexities  Whom to listen first? and whom to follow? Overwrought with strange kind of feelings! Tingle within, tangled strings and so were  decisions One day serendipity happened, when I read ''Wherever you go, go with all your heart'' I got way to my heart, a sacred place Far away from chaos, irresolution and uncertainty  Whatever it says, I follow it intensely with devotion Since the day I've accepted it as my oversee  It never ever proved me wrong or feel regret I listen my intuitions, for they spread love for everyone!  Written for A to Z Challenge

Fading Away

Your enclosure  right from my birth  I merely a bud You save me from  surrounding dearth, Within you I nurtured myself,  A sudden caste away of yours  rendered me into a new self, You're still by my side,  yet you let my  efflorescence  to be in the light, you have been always  a part of me,  without you   I am incomplete  with lost essence of  life and glee I am fading away, With each wind's blow  I sway. Earth

Aesthetic curlicue in colors  flourished on this earth in boundaries with contour disseminate the charm; the nature's flair an everlasting state of the art endowed we eulogize  but at the same time we denounce its sway of reign sometimes because of faux pas  or because of avarice! We dwell in this then why so detached ? Written for A to Z Challenge

Dark

Dried are those leaves  into an obscuring loop that had been green once The dark clouds mask over celestial bodies, the moon  and the stars Mixture of dark in light  the gleaming texture  drab off its shine; Close eyes can feel the dark the emptiness inside! Eclipse covering the moon  turn off its bright light.  Written for A to Z Challenge

Confession by Amir

You loved swing and you loved heights  Life is strange. For me, a plight  It took you away. Far far from my sight I sit there still and lifeless in fright  The fate mistook you in place of me I'm a jigsaw with missing pieces without thee Together we fought and found glee out of blues  Drained of blues even, life is out of hues I cry day and night with endless pleads  Mom accuse me for your fate. My heart bleed ! I thrive for nothing. Her love and care is all I need Do you suspect my love to be a mastermind seed?  Was it my fault that I was different from you? Was it my fault to be a brother of someone as great as you? I know you expect me to bright and shine I promise you, I won't fail you or let you down the line.  Your loving brother Amir  Written for A to Z Challenge

Anecdotes of Amir

My heart gets overwhelmed with brotherly love when I see Ahad, my elder brother smiling. His eyes shine with high spirits and sheer happiness when he plays on swing. Back and forth, he enjoy when his hairs wave with the air. The confidence and pride he takes when the swing goes up and feel loved when I give him a push from behind. ‘’Ahad is my adorable son. He is the best in academics and in extra curricular activities. Recently he won a first prize in debate competition and now he is doing rehearsal for sensational music at the inter school level which will be held next week. Ahad, bring all your trophies and certificates to show Meghna Aunty.’’ said Rashida, beaming with proud.  ‘’Amir, why are you hiding yourself behind the curtains. Come here. Sit with us, sweetheart.’’ said Meghna with a broad and friendly smile on her face. Amir was scared. He looked into Rashida's eyes to which she reluctantly ignored. He moved with detest. Meghna putting her arms around him asked,...
