Lost Innocence

My day to day lessons included
Of honesty and kindness, virtues added
Goodness in me was embedded by birth
But soon the reality was unearth
 An ugly face behind tempting mask
Bribe, revenge, jealousy. Why? I want to ask
Where are those lessons of past?
This bitter side of world has left me aghast
 Those taught lessons are part of ignorance
With injustice on each step I've lost innocence
