We are destined like this
She whispered in his ears
To console her younger brother
She wiped his ceaseless tears
Their daily chores start with
washing dishes and ferry bricks
Under the sunlight among silent whines
There is a dream lying, close to kick
There is a strange rhyme he listen
In those green paddy fields
None but of his heart
To learn and read
How difficult it is to give up
On dreams and forget ''to wish''
Engraving notes on the bare land
He don't want to see their fate wicked
We will read no matter what
She said hugging him tight
Perhaps, the courage
out of hard times was
a blessing in disguise
