Rain rejoice

This post has been published by me as a part of Blog-a-Ton 55; the fifty-fifth edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. In association with Rashmi Kumar, the author of Hooked, Lined and Single and Jyoti Arora, the author of Lemon Girl. .

"There is something special about rains. When trees dance, flowers smile rejoicing and the stirring fragrant brew up; I feel a new self. As if nature has framed up a mirror for me to look at and reciprocate in the same way." Said Snigdha and ran towards the garden to meet the season's first shower.

Anand was mesmerized to see rains from a new perspective. In the chaos of life, earning hard and gathering luxuries he hardly ever noticed the joy of little things, the joy of letting go everything for a moment. Resting his left shoulder on the door he stood there motionless in admiration of Snigdha's carefree smile, those brown innocent eyes and tempting rose bud like moist lips. She had never looked this beautiful before.

"Anand, you are missing out life. Come and live it." She said with new enthusiasm.
Snigdha's words sounded like an ardent call. He ran smiling with his arms open. He closed his eyes and raised his head to feel the raindrops. He felt nourished. It was like, the drops of rain were washing away all his pain, long years of tiredness, guilt and grudges. Those grudges of not expressing his love for Snigdha, for the person she was and the place she had in his life.

" I feel, I have fallen for you, Snigdha", fumbled Anand.

Snigdha was awestruck to finally hear those words from Anand she had heard over thousands of times in her imagination. She couldn't believe her longing was finally coming true.
"Your silence is killing me. Say something, please. " A drop of tear escaped from the corner of her eye. She embraced him tightly as if to never let him go. "Buddhu, why did you take it so long to say this?"

"Because, today I realized "my life"... you and a beautiful journey waiting for us with more of love and rains." Said Anand kissing on her forehead.

  8. Hello simran. I finally managed to write this for you and for your plot. And believe me your plot worth this.
I'm really overwhelmed after zipping it through. The love story is to cute. The story is too simple and just describing the love for both the rain and his beloved. And how the rain has just encouraged him to propose his beloved.
    I enjoyed reading.
    Thank you.
