Confession by Amir

You loved swing and you loved heights
Life is strange. For me, a plight
It took you away. Far far from my sight
I sit there still and lifeless in fright

The fate mistook you in place of me
I'm a jigsaw with missing pieces without thee
Together we fought and found glee out of blues
Drained of blues even, life is out of hues

I cry day and night with endless pleads
Mom accuse me for your fate. My heart bleed!
I thrive for nothing. Her love and care is all I need
Do you suspect my love to be a mastermind seed?

Was it my fault that I was different from you?
Was it my fault to be a brother of someone as great as you?
I know you expect me to bright and shine
I promise you, I won't fail you or let you down the line.

Your loving brother
Amir

  6. No. Not his fault. People differ. Though they carry the same blood.
