My Memorable Road trip!

A life lived monotonously
has no value until and unless
it has experiences of adventure

                                                                    -Simran Kaur

My mother is the most adventurous person in our family. She loves exploring new places and past histories. I, a studious or you may call a boring one who likes to sit at home and spend the whole holidays behind the books or other things but it has been my mother who helped me to raise my interest to know and learn about the life at other ends. She says, ''Tell me, how would be a life without experiences and that too lived monotonous?? ''
You're absolutely right mom!
Last year we planned our trip to the City of Lakes, Udaipur

We were four members, My mom- dad, elder brother and myself. We had a train from Gorakhpur to Kota on January 16, 2012 and we reached there on 17th by late morning. We stayed at my bua's place, since they had a busy schedule so we decided to visit places by our own self rather disturbing their schedule. We had a car
Honda Accord and by 2:00 PM

we set on to visit the Gurudwara to have baba ji's blessing where the shooting of film Machis took place.
'Spirituality within says
remember the God always'
We had our langar there. The next was Chambal garden

A statue at Chambal garden
'I have no speech but...yet I have my expressions that speaks better'
It is believed that the person who drinks the water of Chambal river develops a feeling of revenge!
'I am wide and flowing
always there to serve you
with kindness and love!'
sunset scene at Chambal Garden
'A ray of hope shines
Intertwine will and power
makes wonder at times'
We enjoyed the boating and the natural fascinating beauty of that place.
The next we proceeded to visit Balaji temple which is about 1 km from Chambal garden. The temple was so beautiful and that was the first time I visited to Balaji's temple.
'Dear God, you're the most close to my heart
the spirituality within me is devoted to only you
For it gives me inner peace and strength'

On the same night we had our train from Kota to Udaipur. We reached there on January 18th 2012 by early morning, there we stayed at my uncle's place. He is sweet and generous that he greeted us with a warm welcome and went along with us to see the beauty of Udaipur in his wonderful car Duster.

As we had planned to stay there for just two days so we decided to not waste our time. I'd already gathered information about the places we had to visit and I was damn excited to see City Palace built by the Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559.
But before that we had our visit to few more places in the way...
Saheliyon- ki- bari , lies in the northern part of the city and has fountains and kiosks built by Maharana Bhopal Singh. The thought was to form an illusion of rain dancing in cadence with dancing maids.
Saheliyon- ki- bari
'I peep out with soft rush to attract your sight
but you know what actually there are some reasons confines'

The Kings used to enjoy around the pools and fountains of this garden. There is a small museum too exhibiting the huge collection of royal households.
'Lush of green
surrounds beauty and charm'

Lake Palace (Jag Niwas)

It was originally built as a royal summer palace, but is now a luxury 5 Star hotel
Mahedra Singh Mewar(the Royal
Family of Udaipur),is the current ruler of the city.
Pierre Loti, a French writer, described Jag Niwas as "slowly moldering in the damp emanations of the lake."

Vivid vivacity

Engrossing me with its beauty and calmness !

The next day we set for City Palace
City Palace in Udaipur
The City Palace in Udaipur was built in a flamboyant style and is considered the largest of its type in Rajasthan, a fusion of the Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles, and was built on a hill top that gives a panoramic view of the city and its surrounding
The royal heritage
rolled with uncountable
histories of pride and dignity

Since they were Suryavanshi they used to have their lunch after worshiping the Sun and on cloudy days they used to worship here.

I don't reside in a crowd
In fact, the crowd reside in me

Chetak the favorite horse of Maharana Pratap had made to wear a structure similar to an elephant's trunk so that during the battles the elephants of enemies could not recognize and attack.
And we had our return on 19th
It was the most adventurous, exciting and thrilling trip I ever had and yet a perfect one !
